Freedom.  Ironically, we are replacing last weeks song choice freedom for this weeks music theme = only music about freedom.

Comment and debate is also being replaced for a Sol Wondrausch special article = “Surfing Austerity: A beginners guide to watery cereal and other budgetary measures”, by Sol Ocean Waundrausch.

Country of the Week = India.

We are hoping to have a special interview, yet to be confirmed.

Issue 11. It’s here at long last.  So this is what you are going to be issued with this week:

Sol Wondrausch is going to be joining us in the studio to be talking about the good and weak points of this week’s country of the week this week.

We’ll also be holding a comment and debate about whether surfing should be in the Olympics.  And if so, would you have to not be a professional surfer and have to surf boards with gashmatash graphics with sponsors such as Lloyds TSB, Coca Cola and Samsung who just hijacked the Olympic torch run here in Falmouth.

Secondary comment and debate –  FINS, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 etc …. 10?

So on this momentous occasion we are bringing you a show like nuffin you has sin or listened to before, unless you have listened to our previous shows, then in which case, its pretty similar to those because, you know, that is our game.

The music theme is music which makes you happy – we ran out of surf related ones ages ago.

Comment and debate this week is about the subject of whether surfing can detract from the enjoyment of other aspects of a place, time etc.

The country of the week this week will be Mexico.  We’ll have a special guest on the show – Blake Armstrong from the USA whose country we insulted a few weeks ago – he’ll be telling us why he likes going to Mexico, if not just as a reason to leave his obese nation.

We are very glad that nobody was hurt in the fire in Falmouth this week.  To celebrate this, and also to pay respect to the power of the tremendous chemical phenomenon, that is fire, fire will be the music theme for this weeks show.  Fire is not as powerful as water of course, as water can put out fire.  Also instead of being used by humans for good, fire is most often used for the destruction of the world and also for that most annoying of party tricks that everyone is embarrassed for the person who carries it out – fire poi.  Fire juggling and doing somersaults through rings ablaze is however pretty dope.

The country of the week this week is Australia.

Comment and debate will be on the subject of air travel.

Hope you are all looking forward to the next show this Saturday.  We certainly are.  We have a special interview with the director of this years English National Surfing Championships.

This week’s music theme is = Request catch up ( sometimes we don’t get round to playing everyone’s requests on the show even if they are excellent ).  Please send in more requests however as we probably need a few more.

Country of the week = Germany with specially telephone guest Mark Hoehn.

Comment and debate = What constitutes a legitimate wetsuit?

We have decided it would be a good idea to give away more personal information over the internet.  Today you will learn our personal mobile phone numbers.

Paul – 07926310442

Ben – 07525361659

Use said written numbers to request music (by text).  Today’s theme of the week is victory tunes.  Songs that you would like played if you were to perhaps win a Cornish surfing competition.

Other things to get in touch about are any opinions, complaints, anecdotes or quandaries surrounding the following items that will air tonight.

  • Abroad – the country of the week this week is Indonesia
  • News – any interesting news?
  • Comment and debate – SECRET SPOTS, should we have them?

Please tell us also about any fun surf sessions you have had this week.

Other methods of contacting us are of course email – thecornishsurfclub@gmail.com.  Or leave a comment on this post.

Lots of love,

Paul and Ben
